I have a "few" '52 Willys Wagons and saved a 2.0 liter Mazda diesel from one of my Ford Escorts to put into one of them. But since they are transverse engines by design it might be a problem. But the MB engine is designed for rear axle and should work better. Gotta have PIC's!! Also any info about adapter plates would be interesting. John, did you get any pics yet?
