Production ended in 1992 with only 4 Grand Wagoneers produced that model year. The last GW is located at the National Auto Museum in Reno, NV. I've touched it... :) The "official" last year for the gW was 1991. For the J-trucks the last year was 1987. Reports of 1988 models surface, but build dates indicate late 1987 models registered as 1988's. The last year of the stepside was 1984. In 1983 only 4,206 J-10's were made. I just read an article in Motor Trend that Ford was thinking of making a "limited production" run of a "Bullit" Mustang of about 4,000 units! Remember when Steve McQueen drove that beautiful '68 Mustang? I remember going to see the movie... in my '68 Mustang. :) Motor trend said that was the best chase scene of all time, I can't disagree. :) Other happenings in November: Pink Floyd's "wish you were here" album was released 25 years ago this month. I was married November 15th, 25 years ago. (my birthday is the 17th, I was 18. :) john - ---------------------------------------------------- john-at-wagoneers.com http://www.wagoneers.com http://www.freegift.net/ - ---------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2000 07:52:37 -0800 From: john Subject: Fwd:Non-member from [Thorsten Windhues ] not sure why Thorsten is bouncing... guess he u ns ub scr ibed or there were problems with his account. john end >From: owner-diesel-benz-at-digest.net >To: diesel-benz-approval-at-digest.net >Subject: BO E diesel-benz-at-digest.net: Non-member submission from >[Thorsten Windhues ] >Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2000 08:20:04 -0500 > >Received: from d1-hrz.uni-duisburg.de ([134.91.4.38]) by >031141557.00adf270-at-unidui.uni-duisburg.de> >X-Sender: si057wi-at-unidui.uni-duisburg.de >X-Mailer: QUALCOMM Windows Eudora Version 4.3 >Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2000 14:17:31 +0100 >To: diesel-benz-at-digest.net >From: Thorsten Windhues >Subject: MB in Montana? >Mime-Version: 1.0 >Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed > >Hello list members, > >I am going to Bozeman, Montana for this winter and am thinking of buying a >car for that time.
