I did bring an extra dash assembly down, right? same color even. :) When you pull the SJ dash out I'll save it with the extra dash in case I ever want to go back... :) Most of the mods we have planned should make all this reversible. The engine/driveline stuff is pretty tame... at least compared to what I've done before. ;) At least we won't have to modify the firewall to fit the engine in... ;) I like the idea of using a SINGLE DIN though, as it won't interfere with the glove box... (unless we're removing the glove box to clear the xj gauges... (let me know I'll get a bigger radio to take more space up... ;) So, the SINGLE DIN will only require carving out the holes for the knobs right now... not too serious... (shouldn't be typing so much... just switched to one finger... :) I've gotten some great links from others too, I'll include them here as a followup. here's a SINGLE DIN setup: (this is the most promising so far... :) (thanx mike: Re: Here It is- $269 Sanyo CD/Tape ) http://crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-Adv76d0J0J3/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=3&g=52600&I=140FXCD500&o=M&a=0 double-sized factory radio with a CD/Cassette (display looks like something out of star wars! ;) http://crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-WgS4Ss3LVPu/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=3&g=52600&I=020ADX5655&o=M&a=0 check out the display: http://crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-WgS4Ss3LVPu/prodpic.asp?pp=26593&i=020ADX5655&o=M&a=0&s=0&display=L here's all the combined CD/Cassette units! http://crutchfield.com/S-WgS4Ss3LVPu/cgi-bin/ProdGroup.asp?c=3&g=52600&s=0 same link? http://crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-Adv76d0J0J3/ProdGroup.asp?c=3&g=52600&s=0 Y'all are great.
