Ron, On your W123 diesel (PLEASE remember to mention year and model in all posts), according to my Performance Products catalog, you do NOT have an electric fuel pump. They only show the fuel pumps by the fuel tank for gasoline 6-cylinder motors (280E and CE). This makes sense. The diesels have the big fuel pump stuff up with the motor. Be thankful. My 89 W124c 300CE uses a PAIR of electric fuel pumps just out of the tank, and boy are those things expensive. Should this be piped-in upsteam of the fuel pump or downstream of it, between fuel pump and injection pump ? If upsteam, in place of the original in-line filter, upstream of it or between in-line filter and fuel-pump ? I _WILL_ get it back in operation ;-3) TIA, Ron, on the banks of the Paraguay River. - -- Anarchy may not be the best form of government, but it's better than no government at all. --- http://personales.conexion.com.py/~rolgiati --- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Apr 2002 16:58:18 -0400 From: Renaud OLGIATI Subject: Radio and aerial wanted My 1978 W123 300D came with a gaping hole in the dashboard, where the radio ought to be, and a hole with a rubber plug, where the aerial is supposed to live. Anyone got either of those, at a reasonable price ? Musicless, on the banks of the Paraguay River.
