It also takes into account an overall average. While some have been knee-slapping, side-splitting, outstanding witticisms, there have been a few whose appeal was apparently lost on me. All of them have fairly consistently been better than whatever I may come up with, though. At least we know you're reading my postings pretty thoroughly. ;-) Alec ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 4 Nov 2002 13:58:46 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: dan's adventure on I-5 On Mon, 4 Nov 2002, diesel-benz-digest wrote: >-->>diesel john >-->The accident was July 31st in Manteca, CA. Drove through there in Sept/Oct coming back from LA... ;) what kind of sausage was it? ;) so, did y'all get a ticket for following too close? The fire department turned off the refrigeration unit as soon as they got there, you can guess the rest. eewwwwwwwww. >so, did y'all get a ticket for following too close? I was told they have 6 months to issue a ticket, so I am keeping my fingers crossed until then. so hard 2 type when you're fingerz R krossed. >So, what are you doing now? At first I was gonna sell Amway, but it seems that many people actually don't forget things like that easily, so I went and got a life insurance license, but in this economy, many people are cancelling that to buy food, a necessity even if daddy got laid off and Mommy can't find work, either. Then I thought about getting a license to work with my wife selling real estate. Still not sure if that will pan out. I've interviewed and tested for a security screener job with the Transportation Security Administration, and I'm on a short list to be hired, I guess I'm just waiting for a phone call, in the meantime, I'm looking for temporary work, handy man around the yard kind of stuff, and watching 3 hours of TV every day whether I need it or not. Life is good (enough for now). Diesel Dan, your "Honey, did you pay the satellite TV bill for last month? You know, these things that are sticked to the oil pan to heat the oil. In their manual they say that it has to be removed after heating and before starting the engine cause of vibrations that might damage the heater. Is this removal really necessary?
