So the cost difference for full Euro-style headlights can only truly be justified by appearance differences. Hmm. Maybe I don't want to say that out loud. ;-) Alec ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 01 Apr 2003 09:28:24 -0800 From: john Subject: RE: 201 euro headlights At 09:22 AM 4/1/2003 +0000, acordova-at-texas.net wrote: > > thanx... > > > > btw, figured out how to get the headlights out today... ;) > > have a pair of IPF replacement lights I'm going to try > > first... > > > > john > >With those standard sized headlights, that's definitely the cheaper way to >get good lighting. I have been told that the filters on the Ford Diesel P/Us (no pun intended) has sensors for water and vacuum detection. The vacuum detection warns you that the filter is clogging and the water detection is self explanatory. I thought about trying to find one in a junk yard and retrofitting it on to my 240D and working up some idiot lights for the detectors. At least if I get some bad diesel I'll have a warning before it stops completely. My brake lights work so it can't be that. Could this be a connection to the cruise control (which I don't have either)? I notice Rusty lists master cylinders with and without this sensor, are they the same except for the sensor?
