It came to Wisconsin from California in the early '80s. I've never driven it in winter. But then again I haven't driven it since 1990 anyway ;) Last year I took out the center consol and found most of the nests in there. Had already removed the seats. Some nests in there. Already removed the carpet and garbage men have taken it away months ago. Seats will be COMPLETELY recovered. The metal frames will be all that I reuse. All that's left in the interior now is the dash (I suspect filled with more nests.) But that will be removed next and all that will be left will be the headliner. I don't think there are any mice up there. I had just had it replaced before it went into "storage". Now my daughter wants me to fix it for *her* to drive! We'll see about that ;) Thanks for the help! Jim/ > just be careful of the hanta virus or however it's spelled... > where a respirator when cleaning it out... It's because the car makers have been offering incentives for the past year or so to keep sales up even though the economy is in the toilet. This has increased the supply of used cars.
