The freakin' power seats won't work unless the driver's door is open! The ignition feed to the relay is broken by one of the two door jamb switches in the driver's side front door....you can actually hear the relay "click" as you open and close the door. Anyone EVER seen this....and can save me a ton of disassembly and/or trouble-shooting? This is just a guess, but seeing as the power seat switches are in the door panels on those cars, it is conceivable that you've got a short to ground or a broken wire that is intermittent and corrects itself when the door is opened. Might want to check the wires where they go from the door to the jamb. Maybe the grommet is worn through and the wires are shorting there. Otherwise, looks like it's time to get out the multimeter and start tracing. :( J.B. Change your front brake pads, and just squeeze the brake fluid bake upstream into the reservoir. But do something soon, please. Brakes are a very useful feature.
