Not quite what I had in mind. ;-> ok... ok... let's see... Distance: 2623.7 miles Approximate Travel Time: 40 hours 21 mins uh... divided by 8 hrs... that's 5 days on the road... around 105 gallons of Diesel at $1.60/gal, $168.32 for fuel... 5 x $80 - $400 hotels... air fare there... probably around $800 for the two of us... so the "bargain" $800 rusted container holding my Turbo Diesel will set me back about $2,200 or more... I've already located an engine for $1,000 here, and a tranny maybe another $500 to $700... Guess you don't need to talk me out of it... the logistics did. ;) Still a great deal... :) Someone within driving distance should score this.... Hey, maybe someone from further west can get it... fix it up a bit, then sell it to someone further west still... and so on until it arrives all restored in Seattle for $800. :) john >-----Original Message----- >From: john [mailto:john-at-wagoneers.com] >Sent: Tuesday, June 03, 2003 12:33 PM >To: Aimino, Michael; Diesel Benz List (E-mail) >Subject: Re: Fleet Reduction Sale > > >is the motor in the 83 300TD a turbo Diesel?
