I don't think the main bearings went out like someone told him, I'm thinking top end... the bottom end sounded fine to me but I did detect some noise at higher rpms in the valve train, but hey, I wasn't there so I don't know for sure. If he can get us pictures of the engine with the valve cover off or the oil pan off we'll know more. I think the car had 277,000 miles or so, can't remember.
