Hebert" Subject: [db] Looking for some trim parts Hey, guys: I need a complete set of the plastic caps (in black) that cover the screws that hold the panels over the driver's and passenger's footwell areas for a 1982 300CD (should be the same for all 123 chassis). I think there are 8 total (4 per side). I also need 4 or 5 of the screws, and one of the grey plastic push-in things that also holds the panels. I figure someone on the list might have some of these kicking around on a parts car or taking up space in the garage. Let me know if you have them, and what you'd like to get for them. Thanks! Just wanted to let everyone know that I've decided to put up for sale my 1982 300TD. It has I believe less tan 100,000 miles and I'll confirm this weekend as I keep it at another house. The paint is in good shape, but has a few small scratches and such. Body is rust free, engine runs good, but needs some vaccume hose work. I currently have the vaccume hoses in the engine compartment taken out along with the lower dash panaels. The turbo works great and is quite. The car has new tires with less than 5,000 miles on them. Interior leather is in very very nice condition with no cracks, but dash does have a few minor cracks in it. The car needs a new front driver side wheel bearing replaced. Other than that, I drove this call for almost two years till I started to have a leak in the vacumme system and I parked it. I crank it up once per month to keep it going. Car is located in Valdosta, Ga and I'm asking 2500 for it. Jason ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2003 17:08:17 -0500 From: Subject: [db] WTS: 1982 300 Turbo Diesel MB White. They are replaced by a new type that is orange. They seem very expensive for what they are, but even so are cheap enough at the dealer. After looking elsewhere in vain, I broke down and paid the dealer price for them.
