It is a 1983 300D Turbo. The place I will be moving to will not have room for all my vehicles so I must sell the car. It runs and will not need to be towed all I need for it is $800. This will help cover the new windshield, front-end alignment, brakes and various parts put into the car. I would like to see it go to a fellow lister who could use it or use the car for parts. I will not have access to a digital camera for a week or two. So here is a description: Color inside and out is Gold. Paint has sun damage hood, roof and trunk. Some parking lot dings. Dings on either side of the hood. Needs new hood hinges ^V I have the hinges the hood might be repairable. Needs new oil/temp/fuel gauge ^V I have a used one Needs passenger side hub ^V I have a used hub assembly Needs work on the vacuum system. Needs work on the turbo ^V turbo spins freely may be ALDA related. (I will include a spare turbo charger that also spins freely) Needs driver side front carpet I have a carpet but it is a different color. Power steering system has a leak. What has been done to date: It was driven from San Diego to Port Orchard WA. (Approx 1200 miles) New windshield. New front brakes and sensors. New motor mounts. New belts. New regulator. New battery. One new oil cooler line. A/C system still has a charge. Plus you get all the spare parts I have. For $900 I will leave the new tires on it.If not they get swapped out with the ones on another project car. You can pay cash or credit card through my Paypal account. Any questions Please ask. If you want to talk to me over the phone email me and I will give you my number. I hate losing this car but life has thrown me another curve ball and something has to give. I had every intention of restoring and keeping it. I am up for wheeling and dealing also. Do not be afraid to be creative. I also have a 88 XJ laredo and a VW diesel pickup and would be willing to trade 2 for 1 or whatever. You get my drift. I need a net loss of 1 car how ever I get to that is fine. A 1984 190d will be up for sale as soon as the rebuilt engine gets dropped back in. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Nov 2003 19:53:32 -0800 From: Kevin Pekarek Subject: Re: [db] For Sale On Wed, Nov 12, 2003 at 10:22:04PM -0500, derick-at-amburgey.us wrote: > I will not have access to a digital camera for a week or two. Flew up to Seatac and drove the car home, and the car was EXACTLY as he had verbally described it, and ran wonderfully. I've put almost 15,000 miles on it since I bought it from him, and it continues to run like a swiss watch. He even went so far as to mailing me a part for the car that he found a few weeks later in his toolbox, since he figured I would have more of a use for it than he. He's a great person to do business with - if you're at all interested in the 300D he's selling, guaranteed it's exactly as he's describing it. Give him a call, you won't be disappointed.
