I put decaf in the car along with one small pouch of the regular stuff. :) smell is getting better now that the plastic parts are with the mechanic and not here... new part is on the way, but we'll be checking the rest of the system out before plugging that jewel back in. john Potter, Tom E wrote: > I hear that Febreze (sp?) works great for removing odors from vehicles. > > Thomas E. Mine basically works when it wants to. It is especially interesting when you set it, it doesn't work, and then 20 minutes later it activates. Depending on your current location, it's a surprise. Anyway, it is also interesting what happens when it does work. When I use the turn signals to change lanes the cruise speeds up and slow to the pace of the turn signal relay. Not much, but it does it. Anyone heard of this? I am also going to be selling our van and buying another diesel. Another 81 - - 85 123 body style car. I am quite familiar with mine. I'm wondering about any items that I need to specifically look for. My experience has been with the replacement of suspension parts, glow plugs, injectors, filters, front seal, water pump, and electrical stuff. I have never adjusted the valves myself and never dealt with the transmission. Suggestions? Another item. Along the driver's door, on the pillar between the front and rear doors, is a piece of rubber tubing covered with fabric. It seals to the door when closed. About half way down the rubber is exposed. Is this a part that I can buy and replace?
