Yes, Costco is interested in helping members. Its almost like the attitude you get with a credit union. While they spent a little time working with your car it pays them back in the long run. You will continue to shop there for other stuff in addition to tires. Its amazing that the rest of corperate america has not caught onto this. The screw em and run policy is so short sighted. Hmmm, Not sure what your getting at with that e-mail John. Must be my education level. :) Perhaps the reactor over at Georgia Tech is running today and interfering with my thought processes. I am not familiar with Discount tire. We may or may not have them here. Perhaps you had "good ol boys" in Augusta where you lived but in the civilized part of Georgia (Atlanta I think they call it) we have driven out most of the rednecks with our shiny Mercedes Benz's and BMW's. Guess they can't handle cars made better than their Jeeps. Robert Chase john wrote: >On Tue, 4 May 2004, Robert Chase wrote: > > > >>-->Heh heh, >>--> >>-->I would rather give Costco my money. I have a utility box that I'd like to put on my Ford F-350 in place of the standard 8ft box. However, it's width is designed for a dually setup. I.E. it's wide enough to cover two tires on each side. I'm looking for opinions from the lists... Should I look into a *dually conversion* from someone like the following: http://www.arrowcraft.com/ Or just leave the single tires under the huge wheel wells of this utility box. Or are the axles for a standard and dually setup the same with different hubs or drums? Could I just convert the axle that I have? This utility box will give me all the space I need for carrying tools, chains, jacks, extra gas, etc. when hauling my antique tractors or my Benz if I take it to the body shop to check into having it reconditioned.... :) It will *look* better with duallys ;) Jim/ - -- Jim Hoffman Oconomowoc, WI '39 Allis Model B '53 Ford Golden Jubilee '?? A "real" dually has a different different offset rims, and the front hubs are different to keep the font wheels wide enough so they don't hit suspension bits and pieces when they turn. The kits just use a spacer that goes between non-dually rims in the back. Go for the dually. :) J.B.
