At least it did at one point. I used to get bottles of Grape Nehi, as well as several other fruit flavors of Nehi, when I was a young whippersnapper outside of Boston in the late 60's - early 70's. My memory says it was pretty good stuff, as far as carbonated pseudo-fruity sugar water goes. Well, he wants a 617 powered XJ. Sounds like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Sure, the execution is a little different... maybe he agrees that the legroom in the rear of an XJ is a joke at best, or maybe he prefers dealing with vacuum oddities over gauges that are for amusement purposes only. > he's quite imaginative... I'm glad I won't be able to see the > carnage from Seattle. ;) I thought you cut the power cord on his sawzall. You were talking about doing that when I was in washington last. At least he hasn't realized that he could go get himself a beater deuce and a half (also diesel powered... well, multifuel) for a couple thousand and drive that around. Not only do they get better mileage than K5 blazers, they also wheel better. At least you'd never have to worry about him getting speeding tickets on the interstate with one :) K - -- Kevin Pekarek Redwood City, CA (near San Francisco) and Los Osos, CA (near San Luis Obispo) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 15 Jun 2004 12:23:57 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: Re: [db] Tucson used cars?
