Pull it out again. You must put the seal on the window, insert the trim strip and only then put the window in the car. Doing it that way takes about 10-15 mins. The other way takes hours, bends the metal strips, frustrates everyone involved and the strip never will seat. I have window and seal in but cannot get the little metal strips to bite and stay in. When I apply power to the wire that connects the power antenna (not the signal) to the radio, I hear a loud thunking sound from the vicinity of the antenna but it does not move. Does anyone know how this is wired? Mine has only two wires going into it. I have seen others with 5. thanks! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Jul 2004 22:25:28 -0700 From: john meister Subject: Re: [db] 300 defroster timer, need help. this is serious... if it's a senior moment, we were just trying to decide if you were having a midlife crisis or a death wish.... no this... :) john derick wrote: > Hallo, > > I had a question today I could not answer and I thought I would put it out > here. > > Where in the blazes is the defroster timer module located under the dash? > > I remember pulling the one out of the 300 I dispatched, but I will be > blessed if I can remember where. :) > > Senior moment?
