Decent car by my standards? Only diesels, no gassers. But then again, I rule out toasters that lots of people have as daily beaters and seemingly swear by them, like corollas, civics, etc, etc. Supposedly the VW Jetta/Golf can get mid to high 30s with a manual and 8v four banger (not the turbo), but if I wanted a jetta, I'd get the TDI. Supposedly the focus can get there on mileage, and so, therefore, can the mazda 3, but neither one of those really interest me. Stuff that size from GM kinda scares me, and neons just don't do it for me. > I may get a good foul weather suit and use my motorbike..... I would be freezing my behind off using it though. :) Even with a foul weather suit I afraid it would take about an hour to get the feeling back in my tush. ;) Derick - -----Original Message----- From: owner-diesel-benz-at-digest.net [mailto:owner-diesel-benz-at-digest.net]On Behalf Of junot Sent: Saturday, October 30, 2004 5:50 PM To: diesel-benz-at-digest.net Subject: [SPAM] Re: [SPAM] Re: [db] Re: 190D schematics? greetings ... i'm getting 35-40 mpg with an old BMW R100S .... + it will outrun most anything out there .... southern arizona is a great place for motorcycles ... but the weather is getting cooler now and i have to wear a jacket ... i can still wear sandals, tho .. as the heat from those opposed cylinders keeps the feets toasty warm ... junot Jerome Kaidor wrote: >derick wrote: > > >>I may get a good foul weather suit and use my motorbike..... >> >> >> >*** I just got my son a Puch moped.
