The original Bilsteins are gas charged shocks, and even though they are quite sturdy units, at 10 or 15 years of age, replacing them with new Bilsteins should show an improvement. Also interested in turbo diesels drive trains for some other projects. Need some VW diesels/transaxles for some Rampage/Omni conversions. I don't think it was gone through, but there is a big difference in real mercedes coolant (which looks like a pale gold) as opposed to death-cool (the orange stuff generic motors uses these days), or the pet-killing green stuff.
