With the exception of the toploader, I don't know of a single manual that will bolt up to the 385 block. Can you ask some people what transmissions will bolt up to the 460? Having just ordered new brake parts from Rusty earlier this week, it threw me when this site listed front rotors for 21.50 and pads for 24.00 until I realized they were using different monetary units. We initally blamed it on the wind buffeting but suspect it's something more than that.... bushings? Shocks? Also, 1st gear is getting increasingly harder to find... do the syncro's tend to wear in these boxes?
