I'm putting 4.10's in the J10... If I adapt the AW4 to the 3.0L I'll have a .75 overdrive... I have to do the math... an XJ would be easier, but it'll require about 4" of lift to clear the oil pan/axle, unless I can flip the oil pan around on the engine... thoughts? The J10 would be perfect for this as it's got dual tanks... I could run svo in the aux tank and Diesel in the other... easy to reach engine bay, etc. On the other hand, pass me some popcorn, the XJ would be more practical, lighter and I could lift it easily and still fit it in the parking garage. :) john On Fri, 18 Mar 2005 acordova-at-texas.net wrote: >-->Woohoo! I paid $2.69 for the last tank of Diesel. I'm wondering what I should do with the OM617... in my J10 or find an XJ... or maybe use it in my Willys... I'm thinking the J10 would be a better platform to run multi-fuel options with, it's already got two tanks, adding another would be easy... it's getting 4.10's... and adapting the AW4 to the Benz engine shouldn't be too hard... oh, yes, soybean oil will work fine... it'll have a high cloud point though. john On Fri, 18 Mar 2005, Eric Ditwiler wrote: > -->I went to Costco last night and saw that they had 35 pounds of soybean oil > -->for $12.96 > --> > -->It looked like about 5 gallons but I am not quite sure.
