I believe the primary filters are greater than 20 microns, the secondary (cannister) is 15 to 20??? Anyone know for certain... It is recommended to filter as fine as you can... clogging the filter on your hand pump won't leave you or your loved ones stranded some where. Clogging the filter on your vehicle is a lot more involved... I'd really like to filter it smaller than the 15-30 microns I'm doing now, but the pump is really hard to operate until I can firmly mount it. :) john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 7 Sep 2005 10:15:47 -0700 (PDT) From: Gene H Subject: Re: [db] B2 tips and questions /w pics Kool! It wasn't too bad, although I now know that the factory manuals are your best bet for accuracy, especially when it comes to things like torque specs. In contrast to the factory manuals (probably what you're getting from mercedessource), the haynes seemed aimed at someone other than a dealership tech. I think I used my Haynes when replacing the window regulator in the driver door on my 85 300D. Currently, I have the factory CD set for the W124 and Stu Ritter's E-Class Owner's Bible, which I rarely read anymore.
