However, as the farmers retire and their kids decide they'd rather have office jobs that work the soil, some of that land is starting to get sub-divided. Rather unfortunate. J.B. VERY unfortunate! :( Jim ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Oct 2005 20:53:13 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: [db] the 124 saga - an update... Bruce has his 124 out of the shop... his wallet is lighter, but his 124 is running great and ready to be aimed west. We checked the weather in Glacier National Park... it's good, but in digging deeper I found that the road is blocked by a rock/mud slide. :( So it looks like Bruce is going to make a beeline for Seattle. How far will he get tomorrow? Leaving Minneapolis... will he make it out of North Dakota? :) We'll see... I just tanked my 124 up and got 31.7 mpg in town... been keeping my foot out of the injection pump a bit more lately... john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Oct 2005 21:08:34 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: [db] recent fuel prices just tanked up my 300d... $3.14/gal (got 31.7 mpg so it's not as painful) gas prices for reg unleaded is $2.79 to $2.90.
