That was my first time using the plow for loading. It was Jason's idea ;) If it were a car worth keeping I think I'd look for a better way. ;) You know the equation... Snow + Salt = Rust. That's why I'm going north further where they are smarter. They leave a coating of snow on the roads and then use sand. No rust up there. I was up at the family cottage in northern Wisc. over the past weekend. They'd just gotten 6 inches of fresh snow. It was a winter wonderland! I loved it! Enjoy the fog. I don't ;) Jim ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Jan 2006 15:57:58 -0600 From: Jon Filina Subject: Re: [db] Automatic gearbox problems Mike asked: >Starting from day one of the trip the gearbox worked poorer and poorer : the >4th gear doesn't hold (when I accelerate - normally ! - the gear looses grip >and the engine starts revving up). If that doesn't solve it, you are looking at a rebuild of the transmission. If swapping out the radiator fixes it, drain the transmission and replace the filter post haste. The antifreeze in the transmission is bound to mess things up.
