Last fall, I ordered two new oil cooler lines (upper and lower) and relatively detailed remove-and-replace instructions from mercedessource.com. I haven't tackled this chore yet. According to the write-up, it requires loosening a motor mount or two and jacking the engine up an inch or two to fit the cooler lines into position for attachment. I need to get this done. My cooler lines are "weepy" with slowly leaking oil. I'd be happy to share an emailed copy of the instructions if you would still find them helpful and I'd love to hear your report on how difficult you found this chore. Wouldn't this be a good opportunity to replace any motor mounts that are less than perfect? This bus was originally used at Camp Denali Alaska, bought by Whidbey Tours, and now owned by me... I'm relisting after a flakey deal. I've recently been driving this thing quite a bit and it's a great rig. It Will definately out haul and perform anything it's size.. It turns on a Dime and would be the coolest bio diesel conversion around! It's just over 19' long, over 6' wide.. The interior has a rubber floor matt and vinyl panels. All of the seats are in good shape.. Tires are all better than 60%.. Brakes are all new and are air assisted.. (Plenty of brakes for hauling, downhill etc..).. All of the windows are good , the rubber is getting a bit weathered.. Rust is only in the gutter areas and some window frames, nothing beyond basic repair.. Storage compartment in the rear. with spare tire. The motor is an inline four cylinder (Mercedes) with Bosch pump.. Allison four speed automatic Trans.. It runs great and gets good mileage.. It's not turbo though.. top speed is 55-60.. The heater core is bypassed ... It has an auxillary heater in the rear. I have a lot of extra parts that go with it.. Parts are available online or through a mechanic.. What you can't find, you can make.. This is a very simple rig. ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #2120 **********************************
