This is a list maintained by the Northwest Biodiesel Network of Biod stations around the area.... http://www.nwbiodiesel.org/default.aspx/GettingBiodiesel It is, as you say John, Seattle heavy, but there is at least one B20 station in Snohomish Co. AND, if anyone is interested, you can get set up pretty easily to get biod delivered directly to you so you can run your own biod coop.. The set up comes compelete with a pump and 275 gallon totes I believe. Details are avaiable from the ever-popular Dr. Dan's Fuelwerks (fuelwerks.com). If there are a few people willing to chip in to the upfront costs, it's a pretty good deal. c On 4/6/06, john wrote: > > > thanx for the biodiesel update... was wondering how close > we were. if they remove road taxes from biodiesel it will be > less, that would be all the incentive they need to fulfill their > biodiesel/ethanol plans. let me know if you hear of a filling > location up near everett. Here is one: > http://www.go-one.de/ukindex.shtml Actually, the price of oil has gone up because demand has gone up, due to countries in Asia becoming more industrialized. Take your presidential complaints up with the democrat party who have not figured out how to win two consecutive elections that should have been slam dunks. You are entirely correct that viable alternatives will not be explored until it is too expensive to use oil. E-85 is certainly not and biodiesel in its current form is not a replacement for oil, since it costs too much fuel to generate it. Yes, I know there are alternative ways of growing refinable fuel oil, but nobody is spending the money to make plants that produce it that way on a large scale.
