(alpha & omega? ;) Then once I've snapped a few pictures I'll be putting the '91 GW on the tow dolly behind the '99 wj... more pictures... then prep it for a run down to curtis's on Thursday morning enroute to a Dr's appointment in Tacoma... Then turn around, head back to Everett by 2:30pm deadheading the tow dolly and head for an allergy shot... then back over to Snohomish to return the tow dolly by 6pm... during the pauses between pavement I'll be working remotely via a broadband card and conducting telcon meetings whilst driving down I-5... of course I use a headset... :) I'll probably be working remotely until 7pm or so to catch up on tasks... :) ok, that was Thursday... Friday morning I some how ended up with a Dentist appointment at 7am... in Everett, then to work... stand up presentation at 2pm, then after work I head home grab up my stuff and head down to a men's retreat in kent(?)where I get to see my friend's "new" Ford Police Interceptor ('96?), he's even going to let me drive it... :) Also meet up with another friend at the retreat who has my '92 Cherokee Sport stored in his garage, trying to decide if I should rebuild the engine, get it running and sell it or try to part it... or better, drop a Diesel into it as well... :) Saturday I'll be teaching a class and taking the annual group photos... might head home Saturday night... On Sunday I hope to get a headstart on homework for the next quarter... or maybe swap the T-90 in the Willys... or maybe just take a nap... we'll see... :) I'm liking the idea of the nap about now... :) love these long pacific northwest days... ;) http://wagoneers.com/MISC/Sunrise-Sunset-Everett-vs-LA.html Oh yeah, the '91 Grand Wagoneer is getting the 6.2L Diesel and 700R4 originally intended for Superdawg (my '83 J10 stepside), depending on how well the 6.2L works out in the SJ, I will either find another one for Superdawg or go with a 4.0L as originally (1st original, as opposed to 2nd original) planned... The 300D needs a pair of tires to replace the yokohama avs db's on it that have been edge worn by a lazy owner who didn't rotate them enough. The yokos seemed to wash out a bit in the rain, even worse than the MXV4 michelins on the car that were on the back - a rotation made the back wash out instead of the front, so I'm pretty sure it was those tires. The S124 has some bridgestone potenzas (RE950s?) that were pretty low when I got the car, so I have no idea how well they'd do in the rain, or how they would wear. The yokos didn't last as long as I thought they would, the michelins appear to wear like iron. What do you think of the traction t/as you have on your 300D? Kevin, I've got the Michelin Rain Force tires on both of my 123s. They work well in the rain. I've also got them on our 2000 Chrysler Town and Country. Marc Z. I've only got a month or so on my new set of Kumho Ecsta ASX tires on my W124 coupe, but I'm quite happy with them so far. Definitely better than the Yoko AVS DB S2's I had on her. And like all the Kumhos, nice and cheap. Standard 195/65-15 size, V rating, so the sidewalls seem sufficiently solid.
