Mine has Quadra Drive II and a four speed auto. All pretty much standard for all European versions. Regards, Tuck I have in hand the October issue of Diesel Builder magazine, with a tech discussion of the new (2007) Jeep Grand Cherokee engine, a V6 Mercedes engine. Roughly, specs are 3 litre all alloy, 72 degree dohc v6 with cast in liners, variable geometry turbo and common rail electronic injection. Advertised output is 215 hp and 376 ft/lb torque -at- 2000 rpm.. Weight not stated. I live in California, I called a couple of dealers to see if this thing will be available here, first said no way, second said sure, come on down.. Who knows? bk ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 11 Sep 2006 09:41:08 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: Re: [db] FW: Re: [JGC] Gas milage/MB diesel (fwd) typically the most left-leaning states block the Diesels... Hey everybody: It's the geek, who has been too busy to say much, now advertizing for 2 cute Benzes! 1965 (?) 190 (E?) (not diesel) $450 non-running project car in fair condition. 1974 240D $3000 running (nicely I'm told) w/ everything except AC working, very nice interior, automatic, and 240K miles. Black w/ tan interior, new fluids and (grimace) high-mileage oil (probably not diesel-grimace). If anybody wants more details, let me know. I would be willing to aid in delivery of the '74.....just to get to drive it! 8^) Jason ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 11 Sep 2006 22:49:29 -0400 From: Marc Z Subject: Re: [db] 2 cute Benzes for sale in VA!
