I think I sprang for one to fix my 190 seats, or was it something else? don't remember now, but it was very helpful info. oh, wait, that was on the guy's server who hosted wagoneers.com for a while in '04... he meant well, but that was a disaster for both of us... The idea, from Rube Goldberg, or maybe Microsoft, was that if a brake light is out taking the cruise control off line will alert you to the fact that you have a bad bulb... it's a "safety" feature... When I look at a benz first thing I do is look to see if it's got Mercedes parts and the correct light bulbs, if it doesn't I know it wasn't cared for properly... A modified Jeep is fine, a modified mercedes is a freaking and costly nightmare... hack a Jeep and you'll improve it, hack a benz and you'll regret it. :) although the tempation to "hack" the climate control and seats in my benz is quite strong, I'm way too busy these days for such adventures... :) john On Mon, 13 Nov 2006, Jon Filina wrote: > -->Y'all, > --> > -->Both Roger and John identified the problems I would see when I removed the > -->two license plate bulb assemblies this afternoon. > --> > -->There is some "yellowing", as John mentioned.
