I'd forgotten who Jimbo had sold his 240D to. All I recall is it being flatbedded back to my home state of Ohio, and my recollection may not be right. Thanks for the laugh! Besides , Jimbo doesn't seem to want to sell any of his tractors so you don't have to make the trek to Wisconsin again... :-) Jon ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Dec 2006 16:00:33 -0000 (UTC) From: "Jerry Kaidor" Subject: Re: [db] Help! 82 300TD wagon in Denver needs a new home ASAP! > Hello Fellow Digesters, *** Ah, geography. Rusty can of course get them but looking around just in case. Also I have the quick glow "upgrade" kit in there and 4 plugs have resistances in the high kilo-ohms. I guess that is bad. I assume the intended resistance is something like the original plugs, around 1 ohm. (been doing email on a Treo for almost a week...) it's in Denver. that's a three day drive and I've only got two days and no money. bummer... this 300TD sounds pretty nice... I'd charge that contractor for the battery and depending on the quality of his work I'd consider filing charges. ;) A creme 300TD... would be nice... but it's a GOOD thing it's there and not here... that would be a victim of the Snohomish Monster Garage, er, Carport... visions of a 4x4 frame and axles under that (retaining the mercedes Diesel of course!) were dancing through my head as my thumbs scampered across the treo keyboard... :) oh well, that was more fun than a trip to vegas... really... I just got back, I would know. :) (wife and daughter went to see celine dion for their Christmas present...) been to vegas 4 times. 3 as an adult, and every time as an adult someone in my family gets sick... wife got the flu right after the show... miserable day yesterday. we are never going to vegas again (on purpose). we don't gamble, the buffets are expensive and totally unnecessary, the ONLY good thing about vegas is it has in-n-out burgers. :) later, john On Sat, 30 Dec 2006, Jerry Kaidor wrote: >-->> Hello Fellow Digesters, >--> >-->*** Ah, geography.
