[popcorn time] Uh oh.....that gets into the discussion started some years ago about turbos on the OM616 (which was raised by someone who bought a fried, aftermarket turbo-ed 240D with parts in the oil pan......) IIRC, the consensus was that the engine couldn't take it, but then someone said they had an OM616 doing tractor-pull duty with 30lbs of boost.....so maybe it was over-reved? ('Cuz I remember that that one had DEFINITELY gone BANG!)
