W250. get it? ;) hey, I've only had 111 vehicles... ;) really bummed that kid backed out on the '01 XJ deal... that deal was flakey from day 1 though... long story, but in a way I'm glad I didn't get involved in that one... at this point I'd have a jeep with no title and have to wait for a long time to get one... not a warm fuzzy feeling about his reliability. I'm liking this idea of the cummins running gear under SuperDawg... sure would make things go a lot faster... just need a bunch of old hockey pucks to make it all work out. ;) john >--> >-->On Tue, Mar 20, 2007 at 04:34:58PM -0700, john wrote: >-->> ok popcorn gang... >-->> >-->> crazy idea #250 >--> ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Mar 2007 16:30:32 -0700 From: Kevin Subject: Re: [db] '91 GW on a '90 Dodge Cummins? I think you've had more than that on the current MB alone! ;) Jim ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Mar 2007 18:50:27 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: Re: [db] '91 GW on a '90 Dodge Cummins? (fwd) good point, I would guess at least 4 to 5 crazy ideas per vehicle might be a good average, right? :) you should have seen what I did to the '64 Karman Ghia I had in Germany... :) john On Tue, 20 Mar 2007, Jim Hoffman wrote: >-->> On Tue, 20 Mar 2007, Kevin wrote: >-->> >-->> >-->Did you suffer from wraparound or something? FSJs aren't wired very well... of course, either are mercedes... well, time to go in and dream of Diesels... ;) later, john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Mar 2007 13:34:38 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: [db] Dodge Diesel dream dispersed... well, another dream shattered... looks like the dodge deal went down, done, dead, delivered to his dad... :) in a way, it's a relief... I would have hurt myself moving that cab and bed off that frame anyway, or something... don't have any large trees on the property... :) figured if I cut the bolts, attached the cab and bed to a tree and pull the frame out from underneath that would work... maybe I should plant a tree... who knows... maybe by the time it grows enough to work as an anchor superdawg will be done. :) I'm still waiting and hoping that SuperDawg will get that 6.2 installed and reassembled THIS year... been saying that for six years next month... many have told me it ain't gonna happen, to forget about the Dawg... but I'm holding out hope... emails aren't replied to, phone calls aren't returned, and it's probably just because he's busy working on it in his shop... that's what I keep telling myself... don't shatter another dream... :) ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Mar 2007 15:01:04 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: [db] lovercraft in portland lovercraft 1216 division st. portland or 97202 503.236.1216 877.201.4369 ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Mar 2007 20:25:15 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: [db] another Diesel dream? ran across another factory Diesel setup... guy won't trade the GW... wants about 9k for it... found an '80 scout with a factory nissan turbo diesel, always garaged and only used as a hunting rig , all original paperwork including sticker, build sheet and sales slip with warranty info included, 4 speed trans, factory paint that still shines and all doors shut like a band new car so... is an '80 scout with a turbo Diesel even in the same class as a Grand Wagoneer or a J10? :) it has a removeable top... :) john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #2421 **********************************
