Do any of you have experience pulling a prechamber? One of my injectors on the 2.5 turbo is huffing. I took out the injector and no need to remove the collar and prechamber. Any BTDT's? Generally need a puller to get the prechamber out, and a tool from MB (or made yourself possibly) to unlock the lock ring. Haven't done it myself. Unless you cracked a prechamber, the only thing I can think of that could cause this is if you have recently had the head off and done work on it. I think that the pre chamber itself may be OK, but I have a compression leak at the base of the injector. It would have to be either the injector seal or the heat shield. Maybe I will pop the injector back in with a new seal and hope all is well! I need two tools... A "pliers" that grabs two of the bolt heads on the pully and a long handled thin wrench that gets the nut. Works pretty well. I got my tools at my local NAPA. They're a bit pricey but I knew I'd be using them again and a friend has the same truck so we share them. Jim > How do you break this nut loose?
