My name is Michael Schamens. I live in Lynnwood WA just West of State Highway 99, slightly North of State Highway 524. We have owned an 1983 300SD since she [Kathy] drove it back from her dad's farm in south western Georgia several summers ago. As with all things it has its issues. It's a most enjoyable drive for four wheels. Our primary transportation being two wheels, my harley softail [when it runs =:0] her honda transalp or bmw R65 or ducati monster. Just thought I'd say hello. Of course there are several things I'd like to discuss with you about the 300SD but they can wait at least a little bit ;-) Mike '99 FXSTC '83 300SD ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Oct 2007 16:33:36 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: Re: [db] intro welcome aboard... Bruce is much closer to you... :) Interesting how many folks from this area are on the lists I started... wonder why that is? I've had several "jeep fests" here in Snohomish over the years, but never really setup a Diesel-Benz fest... not the same kind of phenomenon I guess... :) Saw you listed an R65... wouldn't mind getting a Daktari... but riding around here would be about the same thing as having a death wish... :) be happy to put pictures of your 300SD on my server... http://wagoneers.com/DieselBenz john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- On Mon, 22 Oct 2007, mscham wrote: # Hello Diesel Benz. # # My name is Michael Schamens. # # I live in Lynnwood WA just West of State Highway 99, slightly North of # State Highway 524. # # We have owned an 1983 300SD since she [Kathy] drove it back from her dad's # farm in south western Georgia several summers ago.
