The Richter scale is logarithmic, so there is a vast difference between the 5.6 (which they'll likely adjust after a week of calculations) and the 6.9-7.1 that rocked the world series in 1989. There weren't any reports of damage in the first ten or fifteen minutes of the news, haven't bothered to look at the news since. Somewhat fits in the same category of a tornado for you all in the midwest, a hurricane for you all near the gulf or on the eastern coast, or a tidal wave of moss attacking John's fleet. It might simply be a matter of some plugged or leaky vacuum lines related to the infamous ALDA. If your injection pump doesn't realize that the turbo is stuffing more air into the cylinders, it won't add the extra fuel, and performance will approach that of a non-turbo, even if your turbocharger is in perfect shape. I think there was an article about adjusting the ALDA (which COULD break one of the adjusting pieces, so perform at your own risk) somewhere on mbz.org. That may also mention some of the particular vacuum lines involved in this voodoo.
