Will it? Does anybody have a working servo, BTW, or am I going to have to settle on this ebay id 140176660990 as the best solution? [Ouch!] Jason ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 9 Nov 2007 21:33:56 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: [db] oil price options? tanked up at $3.69/gal today (used 5 gallons of BioDiesel converted from my vast veggie oil stash) so, I got to thinking... not always a good thing... what about "new" veggie oil... and then went to costco and priced new oil: - ----------------------------------- Peanut oil 4.6 gals $26.89 (35lbs) - or $5.85/gallon Soyoil 35lbs $20.49 (guess it's 4.6 gallons, in cubbies) - or $4.45/gal Mazola Corn Oil 2.5 gal $15.59 would be $31.18/5 gallons - $6.24/gal 160 oz crisco $6.49 - 1.25 Gallons - $5.192/gal - ----------------------------------- with rumors and reality closing in on $4/gallon for go juice of the bad smelling kind (gasoline) and/or the good smelling kind (Diesel)... I've kind of rethought my fleet plans... looks like I'm going to get the seats fixed up in Shadowfax, got an estimate of about $300-400 to have foam put in to build up the lumbar and make the seats softer. I can add in a power lumbar unit for another $299. Don't think I'm going to get that exotic... just want to be able to walk after driving for more than 30 minutes. :) Still no word from Centralia, almost drove down there today... takes 3 hours to get down there, 3 hours to get back... if I spend an hour or two down there and get nothing accomplished I'll have wasted 8 hrs... ...anyway, someday Omega ('91 Grand Wagoneer) will find his way home with the 6.2L Diesel... will begin putting the finishing touches on it and possibly set up a fuel heater so I can run straight veggie oil through it. The BioDiesel seems to be working ok in Shadowfax, but I only drove about 60 miles so far with it. :) Have given up on finding a nice XJ or WJ... sure hope Omega gets home soon and works as planned... john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #2586 **********************************
