(don't have a controller on my wj) http://wagoneers.com/fotos/2007/12-Dec-22-Rambo-n-Omega/Rambo-in-tow/P1140164.jpg the J100 probably weighs 4,500 to 5,000 lbs... maybe more, those tires are 35's! so maybe 5,500lbs total... plus another 1,500 to 2,000 for the trailer itself... so somewhere between 6,000 and 7,500 lbs were behind the WJ... which weighs about 3950 lbs. The 4.7L V8 and 45RFE did superbly... computer showed around 13 to 14 mpg average coming up I-5 at 45 mph. If I buy this flatbed the first thing I'll be doing is installing a trailer brake controller and changing the trailer to a 7 pin flat RV connector... :) btw, my friend dave is 6'4"... gives you a bit of an idea of how tall Rambo is. :) I'm heading down to help curtis work on my '91 GW on Friday... will take my '91 300d to save some fuel and make some time... Superdawg is tucked away under a tarp with the bed not bolted in... I'm really not up to any more towing adventures for THIS year. :) Hope you are all having a very MERRY CHRISTMAS... john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- there's a solution for every problem; problem is can we afford the solution? - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Dec 2007 15:01:00 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: [db] a '63 IFS 4x4 Wagoneer and the '67 J-100 panel http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/63_ifs_rice/ http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/63_ifs_rice/ALL.html http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/67_j100_panel/ http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/67_j100_panel/ALL.html Merry Christmas ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- there's a solution for every problem; problem is can we afford the solution? - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Dec 2007 21:52:32 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: [db] anyone know about these cars? http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/car/516075742.html http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/car/516070710.html someone wants to trade my '89 GW for either one of those cars... I don't know much about cars any more... my last BMW was a '67 2000CS in Germany. let me know if there are issues with either car... not that I'm serious about trading, but it might not be a bad way of getting my daughter into a more economical car, or me getting back into a BMW. :) here's my ad: http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/car/518852112.html ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- there's a solution for every problem; problem is can we afford the solution? - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #2619 **********************************
