Well, seeing I was the AM General factory fellow that went to Coggiola in Milan to discuss this project when they started it a 8 years ago, it definitely was a "one of" project. If I recall correctly, some wealthy Arab client asked for the modification to his truck and Coggiola being a premier design house, undertook the project. They should have parked one of John's jeeps next to it to give you the perspective on the sheer size though you can get an idea with that ugly Land Rover in the garage shot. The really beautiful proportions and design fool the eye in these pictures. They invested over 250K K in the body and new custom interior. Pity it will never go into production, I am sure they could sell all of 50/yr worldwide. Heh!
