But then again, the 6.2/6.5 platform was at least made in the right country, and they surely are cheaper to get hands on than the 3.5s professionally rebuilt. And there is a lot of room under the hood...... OK, go for it. Put a 6.x GM engine in it. Go for broke on displacement and get max HP and torque out of that bad boy. Those were both good heavy-hitters. I borrowed a full-ton, crew-cab, long-bed truck w/ a 7.3 non-turbo in it, and that thing was astonishingly fast empty. I can only imagine a 7.3 turbo in that car! Whoooooo! OK, then it's settled.
