Figure if its OK for your hands, it's OK for the interior too. In general, I like to start with relatively innocuous stuff before moving on to the hard stuff. But whatever you do use, try it someplace inconspicuous first. - Jerry > > Try "DeSolv-It" or "Goof-off". > > The former is your best choice I think. Thanks for the great suggestions. I think I'll start with whichever of these I can find at AutoZone. I'm pretty sure I've seen Simple Green there before. By the way, should I let my mechanic know that I noticed the stains? I don't want him to think I'm dissatisfied with his work, but as much as I'm spending ($1,200 within a week), I think my car deserves careful treatment. Thanks again for your suggestions. I would mention it to him, they usually go to great lengths to keep a customer's car clean. He could probably deal with that spot in seconds. I would do that before playing with chemicals you don't need. :) john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://wagoneers.com john's 6.2L GW: http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/Omega/ SAVE FUEL use AMSOIL Synthetics: http://wagoneers.com/AMSOIL - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Wed, 23 Jul 2008, Anaeis N wrote: # Thanks for the great suggestions. It does have the center differential... make me an offer... it's heavy... I decided to go with the NP219 because I've had good luck with them before, it's simple, and I had one. Picked this one up in Ouray. I'm not sure, but I think that the Jeep got quieter and smoother... I took a drive up the highway... It could be that the worn xfr case was making noise and I didn't realize it... Little improvements... I'll take 'em. :) The only problem after the swap and test drive was the clinch pin holding the shift lever fell out... so I put in a cotter pin. Emergency drive is all the way down and lights up the green 4wd light.
