Star also printed a review on the diesel Suzuki. Another daily paper reported on this model a couple of weeks ago and I think Suzuki is letting the car tested by car journalists here. In general I don't think much about Suzuki and French cars. Understand the smaller Peugeot diesel engines are quite advanced and they have for some time particle filters in the exhaust which actually work. The German car manufacturers, for some time, were unable to offer similar units. However, would not like to have a French made starter and alternator in the car. In my 91 Benz, 300D 2.5 turbo I have a French made alternator - Valeo - and MB charges about Cdn $ 130.00 just for the voltage regulator. Bought for US$ 65.00 on ebay a reconditioned Bosch alternator. Raybestos. Not expensive, stil a name brand. Guess what? Not flat, not parallel. After suffering through a week of juddering brakes, I had my brand new rotors turned. Fine now. Is it too much to ask for new rotors to be round, flat and parallel? If they are stacked on their side, or shipped in a big pile, with rotors on top of rotors for a long time, you can see that. I hope that the place you purchased the rotors from turned them for free.
