Did is say Laybestos??? Just kidding ;-) . Having spent 7 years working with Chinese foundries and ordering container loads of castings, this kind of bad quality occurs a lot if you don't keep an iron hand over the QC department. Raybestos is a good brand but someone allowed some rejected material to get boxed. Had to meet the end of month shipping quota maybe. Happens. I would have taken the box back and asked for new ones or at least a refund on the machine shop work. Also, I tend to buy all my parts from one source in town for my U.S. made cars, makes the customer service that much better when I do have an issue.
