I bought a 4" angle grinder from HF a few years ago. Made one cut with it and threw it away. Well, it _was_ a substantial cut, through a 1.5" thick chunk of solid steel. Is it communism? The Russians used to have a saying: "As long as they pretend to pay us, we'll pretend to work." I went to HF the other day to look for cheap combination-end wrenches. Alas, they weren't cheap. I bought a Chinese drill press some years ago. The beefy rubber-encased on/off pushbuttons were actually a front end for a little tiny plastic rocker switch. The handle broke off the crank for moving the stage up and down. But it still works, I still use it. - Jerry Kaidor ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 26 Oct 2008 21:19:57 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: Re: [db] '67 J100 Panel it's not from around here? ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold SAVE fuel: use synthetics: http://www.AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 SAVE power: use LINUX: http://johnmeister.com/tmcp.pdf http://wagoneers.com http://gunbanobama.com/ http://freegift.com - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Sun, 26 Oct 2008, Jim Hoffman wrote: # Well, that's pretty obvious... The knowledge pool in the Volvo community suggests that a lightweight synthetic, rather than 15W-40 petro oil, solves the problem. Also need to change timing belts on a regular basis with this motor.
