I've got a '91 300D, great car... even has limited slip rear end... but it's under at least a foot of snow right now. :) the 2.5L Turbo Diesel in my benz is a great engine... 30 mpg in town 0 to 60 in about 12 seconds top speed 121 mph... gets almost 40 on the freeway... my son has an '85 300D he's thinking of selling... he wants to put his Ford 460 from his '74 Javelin into our '67 J100 panel, he's found a c6/np xfr case to work it out. ;) he'll be selling the javelin body then as well. The ridge tube/pipe snapped in two places, and the middle joint landed on the roof of the car (with all the snow and branch stuff centered on that). So, all six legs of the carport are up (albeit some bent or cracked now), with it all in a "cup" centered on the car roof. :( I'm just glad the snapping ridge tube managed to miss the glass!
