The tub and interior look decent. Would use the Diesel drivetrain in it... or possibly swap/repair the 4.0L... anyway, looking at pictures I've gathered showing YJs and my CJ-10A: http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/YJ/an-experimental-YJ.jpg trying to decide if I'd actually use the cj-10a front clip, the hoods are different... and I actually think the YJ may look better. I don't think I could just add the CJ-10A fenders to the YJ... if I could then I'd have four headlights, might be useful... :) but I think it would look uglier than either of them... we'll see how the cj-10a project works out... :) with the blazer and the javelin gone and the J10s 105 miles away there's room in the drive for a project. ;) Or at least a parts festival... could probably sell the Dana 70 rear axle and other parts... The YJ would work out nicely for Biodiesel/WVO runs... hard top, automatic... a rear gate that looks easy to use. There's a hitch on the '88 YJ, bumper type, would be able to add a reciever hitch and mount my barrel lift. you can see it mounted to the back of my J10 trailer: http://wagoneers.com/fotos/2008/11-Nov-16-wvo-run-to-Arlington/P1070853.jpg Thoughts? (besides those about my sanity. ;) Should I keep the YJ front end stock or use the CJ-10a? The 3.3L Diesel and 727/np208 should drop right in, and should move the YJ around reasonably well.
