Does anyone know if a T-19 adapter will mate to a T-5? The SD33T I've found comes with a T-19 for a scout... the SD33T used an SAE #4 adapter ring that mates to the Big Block 727, or the Scout T-19. SuperDawg has 3.54 gears and the T-5... if I used the T-18 or T-19 I wouldn't have an over drive... Without the overdrive the J10 (Superdawg) would be going 5 mph less at the same RPM as the Tug with 3.31's. (compared to the original 4.88 gears, last column) The tug is doing fine with the SD33 naturally aspirated with the shift kit and amsoil, if I use the SD33T in Superdawg with the Manual T-5 and 3.54s it should work out quite well. Won't be fast, but it should be capable of doing what I need done economically. tug J10 ORIG 235's 235's 31" tires Gears: 3.31 3.54 4.88 Tires: 28.88 28.88 30.35 tach mph mph ORIG 1000 25.96 24.27 18.50 1100 28.55 26.70 20.35 1200 31.15 29.12 22.20 1300 33.74 31.55 24.05 1400 36.34 33.98 25.90 1450 37.64 35.19 26.83 1500 38.94 36.41 27.75 1550 40.23 37.62 28.68 1600 41.53 38.83 29.60 1650 42.83 40.05 30.53 1700 44.13 41.26 31.45 1750 45.42 42.47 32.38 1800 46.72 43.69 33.30 1850 48.02 44.90 34.23 1900 49.32 46.11 35.15 1950 50.62 47.33 36.08 2000 51.91 48.54 37.00 2050 53.21 49.75 37.93 2100 54.51 50.97 38.85 2150 55.81 52.18 39.78 2200 57.11 53.40 40.70 2250 58.40 54.61 41.63 2300 59.70 55.82 42.56 2350 61.00 57.04 43.48 2400 62.30 58.25 44.41 2450 63.59 59.46 45.33 2500 64.89 60.68 46.26 2550 66.19 61.89 47.18 2600 67.49 63.10 48.11 2650 68.79 64.32 49.03 2700 70.08 65.53 49.96 john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 2 Jun 2009 11:23:09 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: Re: [db] Cummins specs these specs are from cummins, current specs... probably grabbed the industrial version and not the automotive one... main info I was looking for was weight... The powerstroke takes 14 quarts, so I was expecting the 2005 cummins to take more. Nope, it only seemed to want 12. If I had to guess, they had to shrink the oil pan because of the 4x4 front axle and adjusted oil change intervals for those trucks to compensate from the huge interval on larger trucks. The 2x4 trucks are a lot lower (probably five inches or so) requiring the same shrunk pan. On Tue, Jun 02, 2009 at 11:14:32AM -0700, Jim Hoffman wrote: > Hmmmm.... Interesting...
