It looks like the SD33T will arrive in Centralia next weekend... Oct 3rd... The guy with the scout SD33T is going hunting morning of the 3rd, then will run up to Centralia from Oregon in the afternoon. I picked up the new torque converter today, the flex plate should be here on monday... need to get some amsoil atf and load it all up. I'll run down to Centralia with the tranny parts. I'll bring the T19/Dana 300 back up and ship it down to the bay area. Also need to bring my extra trans and xfr case(s?) home. Mark needs a Transfer Case for his '85 GW. Figure I'll drag extra XJ bits and pieces home as well... finally, Curtis will have some room in his shop. ;) With favorable winds, weather, proper alignment of the stars and working parts, it is possible that SuperDawg, my '83 J10 stepside that has been apart since spring of 2001, may actually pass asphalt under his chassis under his own power within the next few weeks... :) SD33T/TF727/NP208 - a/c, power windows, power door locks, leather seats, same paint as my '99 WJ. Will set up an extra tank as a heated SVO and run dual fuels eventually. john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Sep 2009 21:18:36 -0700 (PDT) From: diesel john Subject: [db] safety improvements the insurance institute tested a 1959 Chevy Belair against a 2009 Chevy... http://www.flixxy.com/insurance-institute-highway-safety.htm details of the test: http://www.iihs.org/ratings/frontal_test_info.html ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #3151 **********************************
