I still don't have my back seat light working from the pass side rear door or dash switch... works from the dr side rear door... weird... the problem started in the trunk I had a bungee cord over the trunk hinge and it nicked the wiring bundle on the driver's side... sheesh, how's a guy supposed to secure his WVO buckets in the trunk? :) john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Thu, 10 Dec 2009, Bruce Caruthers wrote: # Odd problem popped up on Tuesday, still ongoing. He is the one in the kaki pants on this page: http://www.ybiofuels.org/ So I think the answer is "it depends" upon the fuel composition. It may not go back to a liquid at the same temperature as it started to solidify. The molecular structure may be a bit different and require some agitation to get it back to a liquid. Do you have a magnetic stirring device like used in chemistry labs? The type where the magnet goes into the jar and the jar sits on a platen with a motorized magnet underneath to rotate it. You might be able to do something similar with your tank ;) As a guess I will say between 26 and 34 F, but getting the heat to transfer to it will be difficult as we spoke about. Just because it is 34 F outside does not mean the fuel has warmed to that temperature. Go get a fan :) Dave -----Original Message----- From: diesel john [mailto:dieseljohn@comcast.net] Sent: Thursday, December 10, 2009 10:42 PM To: David Ashby Cc: diesel-benz list Subject: RE: BioDiesel and hummingbirds at 16 deg F one friend thinks it's leftover turkey gravy... :) any idea at what temp it'll start flowing again??/ http://fotomeister.us/2009/12-Dec-10-BioDiesel-at-16-deg-F/ ----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Thu, 10 Dec 2009, David Ashby wrote: mmm what flavor is it? ;) Fries, donuts, chicken? -----Original Message----- From: diesel john [mailto:dieseljohn@comcast.net] Sent: Thursday, December 10, 2009 10:32 PM To: David Ashby Subject: RE: BioDiesel and hummingbirds at 16 deg F excellent... want some biodiesel? bring a spoon... :) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Dec 2009 11:19:10 -0800 (PST) From: diesel john Subject: [db] RE: BioDiesel at 16 deg F (fwd) "jello mellow"... gravy... :) Have a magnetic heater on the tank, block heater plugged in... heat gun blowing on the tank... it's become liquid again... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Jim Blair "They call it Jello yellow..."
