I am so looking forward to normal heat and a dry cab though... :) Anyway, that leaves me without a daily driving Diesel WVO hauler.... have a large pile of cubies and buckets out in the yard from my last run that need to get up to Arlington, but with the cold snap we had a few weeks ago we're not able to make bioDiesel so it's not a big problem. My ultimate WVO hauling Diesel daily driver, my '83 J10 stepside, http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/superdawg-oct2000.jpg was supposed to be put together by now... no idea of how long it's going to take... it'll be done very well no doubt, but I need it now... got the SD33T in September, the TF727 rebuilt in August... so, in the interim what am I going to do? I really shouldn't be hauling WVO in one of the vehicles I plan to keep, or even sell... makes a big mess, unless it's a pickup truck of some kind, or I put each cubie in a bag in a plastic tray... been looking around at some cheap temporary Diesels: a '75 300D: (only 1,500, very tempting... large trunk. ;) http://images.craigslist.org/3k83od3l65V55Uc5R19csdcaa27dde1c11f8a.jpg a '91 F250: (pretty far away, who knows about the '91 F250 Diesels??? I don't know what the hold up is, or why... The '91 F250 looks good in the pictures, around book value... thinking I might be able to trade the '89 XJ towards it... IF I ever get the title from the guy that blew the engine in the '00WJ... why am I always waiting on someone???? I need to head into town today to pick up the glow plug for my '91 300D, then get home and work on the 4.0L swap in the '00 WJ... almost had the engine out last night... mark went to visit a friend down in Seattle... waiting on him... ;) it's like I'm in the Army again... hurry up and wait... :) thoughts on the '91 F250 Diesel 4x4? should be easy to sell when my J10 is done... what kind of mileage will it get? john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Dec 2009 09:58:49 -0800 (PST) From: Jim Hoffman Subject: Re: [db] tug finally sold, J10 not finished, now what?
