While it's sad to loose any car, I'm glad it wasn't one of those. It may have been a little harder to loose. I'm certainly glad that Jerry's wife is okay. I found that I can keep the leftover parts from the (used) replacement door they are fixing my W124 with at the body shop. Anyone need parts from it? The mirror housing/base, the frame/intrusion bar, and shell are the only parts I *know* will be used. All the other stuff seemed to be working fine (electric window stuff, locks, mirror motor, seat controls, etc.) so potentially all that is available. Anyone need parts? I could use the extra cash or perhaps 1+TB SATA drives. Otherwise, I'll just let the shop keep the parts, since I don't really have much space to store parts long term. - -bkc Lynnwood, WA (his) '76 MB 240D [W115.117/616.916] (hers) '92 Toyota Celica GT (dying?)
