If you let it go too long, it can cause cracks in your timing case cover. Undo the tension spring and see if there's excessive play in the tensioner arm. I actually fit TWO cars in!!!! I'm still in unbelief. Although, looking at the situation, if I remove the old shelves from the front wall, move the Diesel generator over along the front wall with the vertical cabinet, then move my toolboxes against the south wall... I think I might be able to get the 300D in with room to spare. Will be able to pull the TDI in far enough to keep the windshield clear... that would be three vehicles... it could happen... really... :) here's proof... http://johnmeister.com/DIESELS/tech/shop-office-aug-2010/ALL.html I will have to make more room to get my J10 in to the carport... it's not going to sit outside, and neither is the WJ... and if I'm still driving the Jetta it'll need to have it's nose under cover, hate trying to clear fog off of windshields. :) I don't think I could get the 300D in with the Jeeps unless it's dismantled... ;) Actually drove the 300D this weekend... man, do I love the Jetta... :) Also drove the WJ last weekend... love it as well. However, my wife likes the 300D so it'll be around for a while, it's an economical runabout for her. hope y'all had a nice weekend. not sure when my J10 will be back, haven't heard anything from curtis for a while... last report was the drivetrain was in the chassis and he was going to fit the body next... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #3317 **********************************
